Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp are reportedly the Premier League's top earning coaches, but their monthly earnings are dwarfed by a European rival.
Guardiola is unsurprisingly the Premier League's highest earning manager amid Man City's domination in recent seasons.
The Spanish coach has led Man City to five league titles, two FA Cups and four Carabao Cups in his time at the Etihad Stadium, as well as delivering the club’s first Champions League triumph last season.
Victory in Istanbul completed a famous Treble, with Guardiola’s side remaining on course for a repeat this campaign.
Guardiola, considered one of the best managers of all-time, is estimated in a new report by French newspaper L'Equipe to earn £1.6m per month.
His monthly salary is higher than his long-term rival Jurgen Klopp, with the outgoing Liverpool boss reportedly receiving £1.2m.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is estimated to be the third highest earning coach in the Premier League, taking home £870,000 per month.
Their monthly earnings, however, fall well short of the salary reportedly earned by Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.
Simeone is claimed to earn nearly doubled Guardiola's monthly salary, with the Argentine paid £2.4m per month.
The figure makes the 53-year-old, who has been in charge of the LaLiga giants since 2011, Europe's highest paid manager.
Simeone has led the Spanish giants to two league and Europa League wins, but has suffered defeats in two Champions League finals to arch-rivals Real Madrid.
Real boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly the second highest earning LaLiga boss on £780,000 a month, significantly higher than Barcelona counterpart Xavi on £274,000.
