Chiefs were held to a goalless draw away at Royal AM on Sunday. The result leaves them sixth on the DStv Premiership table and missed out on an opportunity to leapfrog their biggest rivals Orlando Pirates, who are fifth on the standings.
Du Preez has since been trending for the wrong reasons after missing a glorious opportunity to score after coming one-on-one with the goalkeeper Hugo Nyame.
