Today is St Patrick's Day and thousands of people celebrating across Merseyside.
In Liverpool city centre, a parade will take place with people expected to gather from midday. Afterwards pubs, bars and clubs are hosting special events to celebrate the occasion.
St Patrick's Day is marked on March 17 because that's believed to be the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It originally started as a religious holiday, but over time it's become a celebration of Irish culture.

The parade will then move off at 1pm. The parade route will then go from Great Orford Street to Hope Street, Upper Duke Street, Berry Street, Renshaw Street, Ranelagh Street and end on Hanover Street.
