Tottenham star James Maddison had the perfect response when targeted by rival Premier League fans at the World Darts Championship.
But Alexandra Palace security staff reportedly did not see it that way.
The darts-loving England midfielder was in attendance to watch Luke Humphries beat 16-year-old Luke Littler in the final on Wednesday night.
Spurs fans get stick everywhere they go, but Ally Pally, being in north London, can be particularly volatile.
Arsenal supporters show up in their thousands — and a familiar chant was aimed at Maddison as he took in the showpiece.
Ally Pally joined in unison for a chorus of 'Tottenham get battered, everywhere they go'.
AFTV were among the fan accounts on social media loving the banter directed at Maddison — but the 27-year-old hit back, smiling as he joined in the good natured singing.
He was pictured holding up a sign which read: 'North London is white! COYS [come on you Spurs]'.
According to the Daily Star, this sign was then confiscated by security staff.
Stewards at the World Darts Championship are known to take a strict approach to any messages that could be deemed offensive or trigger unrest.
I assume the Ally Pally crowd have just spotted James Maddison watching on!
