Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright have offered their verdict on Cody Gakpo's performance against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Dutchman came on as a substitute during Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Old Trafford as Liverpool's hopes of winning a quadruple ended in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Gakpo, who arrived at Anfield from PSV Eindhoven in January last year, played 43 minutes against United but made very little impact for Jurgen Klopp's side.
And former Liverpool centre-back Carragher was critical of the 24-year-old during the Reds' cup exit. "Gakpo plays like the game is in slow motion," he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Wright was also less than impressed by the Dutchman's cameo. He said on ITV: "Obviously they will be disappointed with it because like he [Klopp] said there were chances where Liverpool could have finished it off.
"The final ball and finishing weren't really great. I don't think Cody Gakpo did too much when he came on, but at the same time, you have to get over this.
"They know how it works at this stage of the season and what they have got to try and do. They are trying to win the League and are still in the Europa League. They have to just try and focus on that, this has gone, it's done. It's unfortunate but this is how it happens."
Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from Sunday's disappointing loss when they host Brighton after the international break on Sunday, March 31. Klopp's team still have the chance to add the Premier League title and Europa League trophy to February's Carabao Cup
