A Fernhill Soccer School coach thanked donors and volunteers after the group ran a free Halloween party at the weekend.
Over 60 kids flocked to Fernhill Community Centre for the fun-filled event, where they tucked into ice cream, jelly, strawberries and juice as well as receiving some goodie bags.
Kids from age three and up attended to either play fancy-dressed party games inside or have a kick about outside.

Coach and organiser Davy O’Neil said: “We try to do this annually for the kids through the soccer school as well as one at Christmas.
“The kids all dressed up for the party and it was great fun for them.
“It took us a bit by surprise how many turned up just to play football, but it was brilliant.
“We said that if any of the kids had siblings who didn’t come to the football, then they could still come along, so we had tons of new faces, which is great to see.
“We don’t charge for anything, it’s all free. We are seeing kids from all over Rutherglen, Cambuslang and further afield all coming along because of that.
“None of that would be possible without the help of our amazing volunteers and sponsors.
“We have a number of female coaches now which has been amazing in encouraging a lot more young girls along, and we get some amazing funding to make stuff like this happen
