Roma striker Romelu Lukaku was delighted with his four goal performance for Belgium last night.
Lukaku struck four goals as Belgium defeated Azerbaijan in their Euro2024 qualifier.
The Chelsea-owned striker later said, "The whole team gave a great performance today and we showed our qualities well. After four goals it feels very good.
"I played a lot with Roma in the last few weeks, that's why the coach and I decided that I would leave at half time. It's really very good to be qualified, but this must motivate us to continue like this.
"It's true that I try to do my best to be able to guide the young people in the team. During training and matches, I try to put my trust in them. I don't talk much and I let them play with their qualities.
"But when we play, sometimes I tell him: 'After you do your dribble, look at me.' This new generation is very talented and I'm sure we can go very far and we will do beautiful things."
