A Liverpool restaurant has been named among the best places to go for a Sunday roast in the UK.

Everyone has their own preferences and who serves the best roast dinner, but according to research done by Betway, these are officially the twelve that come out on top.

Hanover Street Social in Liverpool city centre came in at number three, following Hawksmoor restaurants in Manchester and London at one and two respectively. The restaurant features exposed brickwork, low lighting and tealight candles, alongside an open kitchen, expansive bar and red leather seating booths.
Hawksmoor Manchester came in with an overall index score of five, with the roast dinner assessed measuring popularity by a unique index score. This was generated by the number of hashtags each location has racked up on Instagram. As well Google and TripAdvisor reviews, with the lower the overall index score the higher the ranking.
Liverpool’s Hanover Street Social came in third with a score of 13. OX Belfast placed fourth with an index score of 14 and Manchester spot Elnecot rounds up the top five with a score of 18.
