Liverpool could make millions as Newcastle United hatch Dominic Solanke transfer plan
Newcastle United are said to have enquired about AFC Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, which could land Liverpool a chunk of any potential sale.
According to Mike McGrath of the Telegraph, the Magpies have approached the Cherries, enquiring over the 26-year-old services. Solanke has found form at the Vitality Stadium scoring 12 goals in 19 matches for Andoni Iraola's side.
It has been claimed that Eddie Howe is looking to strengthen his strikeforce this month as the North East side weather the injury issues that have plagued his selection options this season. Alexander Isak has enjoyed a goalscoring return following his record move to St James' Park in the summer of 2023 but strike partner Callum Wilson is set for a period on the sidelines.

Howe worked with Solanke at Bournemouth during his successful spell in the dugout. The Cherries would stand to make a hefty profit, it has been claimed, if they were to sell the forward but according to the report their top goalscorer is not for sale this month.
Liverpool signed the forward in 2017 from Premier League rivals Chelsea with Solanke going on to make 27 appearances for the Reds, netting once. Two years later, he swapped Merseyside for the South Coast when he penned terms with Bournemouth for a fee worth an initial £19million plus add-ons.
It has been previously reported by the ECHO that the Reds have already received the add-ons from the initial deal, as the Anfield club scored a reported £24million from his move.
