Liverpool face three-way fight to land disgruntled big-name manager this summer
With Jurgen Klopp having already made the decision to leave Liverpool, the Reds have got their work cut out to land a new managerial target.
Xabi Alonso has been consistently linked with a move back to Anfield, though the former Red has yet to commit himself, given that another of his former teams, Bayern Munich, would also appear to be interested in his services.
Roberto De Zerbi could spark managerial merry-go-round
A managerial merry-go-round of sorts is likely to occur in the summer, as Barcelona also need a replacement for Xavi and Chelsea might also be looking at replacing Mauricio Pochettino after a disappointing campaign.

A 4-0 humbling at Roma in the first leg of their Europa League Round of 16 first leg brought Brighton’s lack of depth into sharp focus, however, De Zerbi’s significant contract release clause could yet make a move to Liverpool or elsewhere difficult.
Ultimately, if De Zerbi is to move on, any interested parties will need to move quickly if they want to be at the front of the queue.
