Liverpool FC parade discussions after Carabao Cup success and Jurgen Klopp exit plan

Liverpool are set to discuss the prospect of an end-of-season parade with the Carabao Cup trophy to mark the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds boss announced in late January that he would be walking away at the end of the campaign after nine, largely decorated years at Anfield and with the club having secured their 10th League Cup on Sunday, the latest piece of silverware presents Liverpool with the opportunity to host an event.

There is an acceptance within the club itself that there are still three months left of the campaign to be played but talks over the possible marking of Klopp's end-of-term exit will be held as Anfield officials continue to explore the best ways to give their hugely popular manager a fitting send-off.

It's been stressed that any dialogue around the proposals are not yet at an advanced stage with so much football still be played before the end of the campaign in late May, but plans are beginning to be informally put in place to recognise the impact Klopp has had on the football club since his October 2015 arrival.
