Liverpool Legends take centre stage at Anfield this weekend in the annual charity match.
A line-up of former Reds stars will take on their counterparts from Ajax on Saturday, with the match helping the LFC Foundations charity. The game is the latest of the annual Liverpool Legends matches that take place at Anfield, following on from the match against Celtic last year.
Sven-Goran Eriksson will be the manager of the Liverpool team at Anfield on Saturday. He will be assisted by Reds legend Ian Rush, John Barnes and John Aldridge in the Anfield dugout.
Several former Liverpool stars will be involved in the game, including club legend Steven Gerrard. The former Reds captain is currently manager of At-Ettifaq, with the Saudi Pro League also having a break just like the Liverpool first-team this month.

Gerrard will be joined by 20 other former Liverpool stars, including Dirk Kuyt, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Jerzy Dudek, Ryan Babel and Djibril Cisse, among others. Babel will also star for Ajax in the game, as well as Jari Litmanen, with the pair having represented both clubs during their respective careers.
Fernando Torres will also be part of the Liverpool squad for the Legends game. It will be the first time that Torres has featured in a Legends match at Anfield since he retired back in 2019.
Kick-off between Liverpool Legends and Ajax is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, March 23 from Anfield.
