According to Foot Mercato, Lorient are interested in a January move for Heracles Almelo winger Bryan Limbombe (22). The Belgian winger has adapted quickly to life in the Eredivise after making the switch from second division side Roda in the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old’s quick acclimatisation has peaked the interest of Les Merlus.
Bryan Limbombe is the younger brother of former Nantes winger Anthony Limbombe. Lorient are searching for a winger in the January transfer window and the former Belgian U21 international is among their leading options. Limbombe nearly followed in the footsteps of his brother by playing in Ligue 1 in the summer transfer window as Toulouse were heavily interested in the left winger.
The 22-year-old is seen by many as one of the best dribblers in the Netherlands, according to Foot Mercato. Since signing from Heracles in the summer, Limbombe has played 14 matches and scored one goal. It remains to be seen whether the Genk youth graduate will soon be playing his football in Ligue 1.
