While Everton have been found guilty of spending £19.5m over the permitted threshold of £105m over an accounting period that ended in the summer of 2022, the accusations around City are far more numerous, with the current Premier League champions facing up to 115 charges across the seasons of 2009/10 to 2017/18 inclusive. Those allegations are denied, it should be stressed.
