Manchester United academy boss Nick Cox has said that Isak Hansen-Aaroen is one of a group of young players at the club with 'high potential'.
The Norwegian, who celebrated his 19th birthday last month, joined United in August 2020, following spells on trial at both Everton and Liverpool. He quickly cemented himself as a key member of the Under-18s squad and signed his first professional deal in August 2021.
The Norway Under-21 international has continued to develop at a steady rate since signing his maiden contract and was part of the squad that won the FA Youth Cup in May 2022. He started five of United's six games on route to winning the trophy.
After playing for both the Under-18s and the Under-21s in his first two seasons at United, he became a fully-fledged member of the Under-21s last term, making 25 appearances in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy combined. He was rewarded with two first-team appearances during the club's most recent pre-season campaign.

Operating as a creative No.10, Hansen-Aaroen demonstrated a hunger to get on the ball and attempt to make things happen. He is a creative operator who loves to be in possession.
Though he has offered signs of encouragement ever since arriving in M16, academy chief Cox has hinted that patience will be required, just as with most young players looking to make the grade.
