Lionel Messi's bodyguard Yassine Chueko has received a bizarre offer from an adult website to the tune of $25,000 after going viral for his work protecting the World Cup winner.
The former US soldier was approached by an x-rated content creation site who were keen to offer the internet sensation a role. In a letter addressed to the Inter Miami forward's personal security, they proposed that he would become their new 'Martial Arts Ambassador'.
On top of an upfront fee, the bodyguard would have also been asked to potentially give tutorials on self-defence. In addition, their offer would have seen him post videos and pictures of himself training and flexing his muscles, as well as chronicling his life alongside Messi.
The proposal also outlined that Chueko would be offered a salary of up to $50,000 (£40,000), alongside the opportunity to make more cash through other means. That would have included the ex-MMA fighter potentially earning more money via 'selling content, performing custom requests, or providing 1:1 consultations via video calls'.
Chueko has experienced a whirlwind rise in recent months due to his work protecting Messi - even when the former Barcelona man is on the field. The bodyguard rose to prominence after stepping in to stop a pitch invader from trying to approach his client during Vice City's win over LAFC by grabbing him by the neck.
Eventually, he removed the assailant from the field, ensuring Messi's safety in the process. He has also been seen keeping a watchful eye over proceedings during Miami games, even patrolling the touchline during a game versus Orlando City in August.
