Having missed the victory over Olympique de Marseille through suspension, and then the win against Clermont Foot through injury, Khéphren Thuram is likely to return to the starting XI against Stade Rennais on Sunday.
The France international has sufficiently recovered from the adductor injury that ruled him out of the win that sent OGC Nice to the top of Ligue 1. His return will see either Morgan Sanson or Hicham Boudadoui, the scorer of the only goal in last weekend’s victory, drop to the bench. Terem Moffi, who was dropped for Evan Guessand, also looks set to return to the lineup. The Nigerian international has been largely ineffective against low blocks, but he will likely have more joy against a Rennes side that like to press high.
Marcin Bulka; Melvin Bard, Dante, Jean-Clair Todibo, Pablo Rosario; Khéphren Thuram, Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Morgan Sanson; Jérémie Boga, Terem Moffi, Gaëtan Laborde.
