Nigeria star Ademola Lookman comments on Arsenal and Chelsea target Victor Osimhen playing in Premier League

Ademola Lookman has remained coy on Nigeria teammate Victor Osimhen playing in the Premier League next season.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed last month that the striker is set to depart in the summer.

De Laurentiis claimed that the 25-year-old could end up at a 'top English club' — with Arsenal and Chelsea known to be admirers.

But Atalanta winger Lookman has refused to disclose whether the centre-forward has asked about life in England following his spells at Everton, Leicester, Fulham and Charlton.

Appearing on talkSPORT Drive in a video call ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations final against hosts Ivory Coast on Sunday, Lookman was asked whether Osimhen has spoken about a move to the Premier League.

Refusing to give anything away, the ex-Everton forward, who won the U-20 World Cup with England in 2017, said: «Not that I know of!

»But I think playing with him is amazing, he's a top player, a top person also.

«Us playing together is a very enjoyable experience, so long may it continue.»

Osimhen, who spearhead Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years last campaign, boasts a release clause of £112million.

And he recently teased a switch to England by admitting he is ready for the 'next step' in his career.

He told CBS Sports,: «The rumour is going around about me linked with the Premier League.
