Several Arsenal loanees have made quite the impact for their respective clubs over the past week with Charlie Patino's goal a particular highlight.
The midfielder has struggled for starts in a Swansea City shirt since being sent off for two bookable offences in the goalless draw with Sunderland last month but rescued a point for Michael Duff's side against Huddersfield Town at the weekend with a 94th-minute equaliser.
Although Patino was not the only loanee to get on the scoresheet on Saturday as Mika Biereth opened the scoring for Motherwell in their 3-3 draw with Dundee. That's now five goals this season for the striker which is made even more impressive given he missed a couple of months through injury.
Rounding off a good weekend for the Gunners' youngsters aiming to impress this season was Brooke Norton-Cuffy as he claimed an assist in Millwall's 1-1 draw with Sunderland. Meanwhile, half of Arsenal's six senior loan players have also been in action over the past week and below is a round-up on how they fared.
He's back! A hamstring injury sustained right at the end of September saw Kieran Tierney miss nine games in succession across all competitions for Real Sociedad and he had to watch on from the sidelines during the October international break as Scotland qualified for next summer's European Championships.
But following two games as an unused substitute against Sevilla and Red Bull Salzburg (in the Champions League) the left-back was handed a start as La Real drew 1-1 with Osasuna. Getting 74 minutes under his belt is certainly a step in the right direction toward full match sharpness.
