River Island's 'chic' and 'smart' £27 jumper dress that's 'not itchy'

Very has reduced the price of a River Island dress that's selling very fast in the sale.

The online retailer is known for stocking an array of different brands including the popular high street retailer River Island. As part of its clearance sale, the Polo Neck Jumper Dress in the shade navy has been reduced from £50 to £27.50 and shoppers have been snapping it up.

Currently available in sizes XS, S, M and L, the dress has a five star rating on the Very website. It's in a midi length with smart and sophisticated collar detail.

One shopper said: "Great everyday dress, I brought this for work but looks great for evening. Can dress down with trainers and dress up for a evening out."

A second review read: "I needed a long navy dress and was delighted with this. It’s warm, not itchy like a lot of knitted dresses and fits well. It is long (I’m 5'7 and it comes to mid calf or just below). I’m a 14/16 and purchased large but might have got away with a medium if I’d wanted it to be fitted. As it is I will probably wear with a belt to smarten up but loose for casual wear. Great purchase in sale."
