The games are going to come thick and fast for Tottenham this week with two fixtures on the calendar. First of all in action on Thursday evening against West Ham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Lilywhites are back at home three days later as Newcastle United make the long trip down to the capital.
The London derby clash against West Ham does give Ange Postecoglou's team the opportunity to return to winning ways after not claiming a victory in their last four Premier League fixtures. Earning plenty of plaudits last weekend after leaving reigning champions Man City with a point following a 3-3 draw, their result at the Etihad Stadium could be the start of Spurs getting back on track and moving up the league table once again.

The return of Cristian Romero finally brings a natural centre-back into Ange Postecoglou's team and Ben Davies will likely get the job alongside him to ensure there is balance with a left-footer.
Elsewhere the main decision revolves once again around either Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Bryan Gil getting the starting spot and then the team adjusts around them. The inclusion of Hojbjerg does push Dejan Kulusevski forward and out of his effective new number eight role, in which he's revelled, but the Dane deserves a start after helping to change the match at the Etihad on Sunday.
Gil had some good moments and did well in the previous home game against Villa but it would be tough on Hojbjerg to bench him again after Postecoglou called him 'excellent' in turning around the encounter against City.
