Ruben Amorim has laughed off the latest questions about his future as the Sporting Lisbon manager continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool.
The Portuguese took issue with suggestions that he already had a verbal agreement to join the Reds last week, and hit out at reports when addressing such claims at a pre-match press conference where he insisted he wouldn't speak anymore about his future.
"To end everything that has been reported, this is the last time I will talk about my future," he said. "There was no interview or agreement with Liverpool. The only thing we all want is to be crowned champions and nothing will change.

"I’ll say it again, I’m Sporting’s coach. There was no interview with any club or agreement with any club. I am focused, as always, on defending my club. And as I have nothing else to say, there won’t be any interviews or agreements with Sporting’s coach - that’s it, that matter is resolved.
"Stop with this story. This is the last time I speak about my future.”
However, that didn't stop Amorim from again being quizzed about such a subject at his latest pre-match press conference on Monday. Reporters, rather creatively, queried whether any of his Sporting players had asked the Portuguese about his future amid the ongoing speculation.
