Sean Dyche has described Abdoulaye Doucoure as 'touch-and-go' to return against Wolverhampton Wanderers - as well as confirming Idrissa Gueye will miss the game at Molineux.
Doucoure was withdrawn at half-time during the win over Burnley with a tight hamstring and has since missed the defeats to Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. Gueye, meanwhile, limped off against Ange Postecoglou’s side after picking up a calf injury.
Everton have a swift return to Premier League action when they take on Wolves, who thrashed Brentford 4-1 on Wednesday night, on Saturday afternoon. And when asked for an injury update, the Blues boss delivered mixed news.

He said: “Idrissa has got a calf injury, certainly not [fit] for this weekend. We will see how that improves, but early signs are better than first thought. We will have to wait and see.
“Doucs, one of those touch-and-go ones, the risk and reward scenarios. He’s a super fit fella, as we know, desperate to play, but we might have to make a judgement call, certainly by tomorrow afternoon."
Ashley Young is another who has been sidelined in recent weeks after he was forced off during the first-half of the win over Chelsea with what Dyche described as a 'niggly' issue.
Asked for an update on Young, Dyche replied: “He’s still a bit away after having a few weeks, but he’s a super fit fella himself, as you are probably with his age and prowess to play in the Premier League. We are hopeful he will return pretty quick.”
Dyche also revealed that James Tarkowski and Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed Thursday’s training
