Sean Dyche hopes for double celebration at expense of West Ham after Premier League decision

Everton manager Sean Dyche is hoping to end a significant week for the club with a win against West Ham at Goodison Park on Saturday. After a draw at Brighton and a reduction in their Financial Fair Play penalty from 10 points to six, following an appeal, the Merseyside club has moved out of the relegation zone, and a win against the Hammers tomorrow could help them shift further away from danger.

«Arguably, over the course of the game, you could argue you'd accept the point at Brighton; we all know that, but with the points coming back, adding a win would make it a very good week,» said Dyche. «We have to get it right, especially against teams like West Ham coming up here. It is about finding different ways of creating chances, but I think we have done that considerably well over the season.»

Everton's main striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, scored against West Ham when the two sides met in October but has been without a goal in 20 matches since. Dyche is all too aware of how important it is to find the net in a relegation dogfight but is trusting his players to show composure when the moment arrives.

«The moment of truth is someone putting it in the net. They (the players) know that, and they don't need reminding about it from me every day. And you can still score from set pieces, and we have been strong at that. They know where it's at, but it is our responsibility to keep getting the team to forge the chances, and the higher quality chances give you an easier opportunity to score.»

Beto, who cost £26million from Udinese, has only netted once in the Premier League three months ago and has only started five of his 21 league appearances. Fellow summer signing Youssef Chermiti has only made nine league appearances, all as a
