Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White is attracting interest from Arsenal.

The 24-year-old has nine goal contributions in 33 games for Forest this season and has been one of the club's best players. According to the Daily Star, Arsenal are tracking the Englishman ahead of the summer window opening.

According to the report, Mikel Arteta wants to reshape the squad once the transfer window reopens. Emile Smith Rowe, who has barely featured this campaign, could be sold and Gibbs-White is seen as someone who could take his place in the squad.

Owner Stan Kroenke has backed Arteta and sporting director Edu in the transfer market in recent years, signing players such as Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus over the past couple of season. Those signings have turned the Gunners into Premier League title challengers, with Arteta's side currently top of the league.

However, there is an expectation that the Gunners will need to strengthen yet again this summer to keep up with rivals Manchester City and Liverpool. Arsenal also have hopes of one day winning the Champions League, with a quarter-final against Bayern Munich to look forward to next month.

Signing a player with the quality of Gibbs-White may help Arsenal in their quest for trophies. Although he may not start straight away if he were to move to Emirates Stadium, the former Wolves man would certainly add quality to the squad.
