SuperSport United will be gunning for their first victory of 2024 in the DStv Premiership when they visit Golden Arrows on Wednesday evening at Mpumalanga Stadium.
SuperSport are winless in the league since the resumption of the campaign after they played to a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in early March, although they are in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup after thrashing Richards Bay 3-1 before the international break.
United will shift their focus to fighting for continental places, as they are currently in sixth spot on the log, five points behind second-placed Stellenbosch and just a point behind third-placed Sekhukhune United.
Matsatsantsa will be without Tendamudzimu Matodzi due to suspension.
As for Arrows, they got back from the international break in a similar manner before the recess, after a 2-1 win over the Natal Rich Boyz handed returning coach Steve Komphela back-to-back victories.
Abafana Bes'thende climbed up to eighth on the log, just one point behind seventh-placed Kaizer Chiefs.
Arrows are chasing a six-point haul against SuperSport, after thrashing them 3-0 in the first round courtesy of Lungelo Nguse, Angelo Van Rooi and Ryan Moon.
