Tottenham Hotspur have now passed the halfway mark of the Premier League season and it's seems as good a time as any to look back and rate the players and Ange Postecoglou so far.
Despite an injury and suspension list, not to mention international absences, that has often been in double figures, Postecoglou's makeshift team find themselves just five points off the top of the table in fifth place, only sitting behind fourth-placed Arsenal on goal difference, albeit having played a game more.
Spurs have become the Premier League's entertainers, playing with style and a swagger that has won plenty of admirers for the team and for Postecoglou.
Now, it's time to pause in this mini-winter break and look back and rate all the players who have got first team minutes so far during the campaign. As always, our ratings are based on the expectation for each player — ours and theirs — rather than to be used as a tool to compare them against each other. Those who have played less than 90 minutes, we've simply reviewed them rather than rated them. We have also rated Postecoglou's first six months in charge at the end of it all.
