Trent Alexander-Arnold says he still expects Liverpool to be challenging for a Premier League title next season, regardless of who replaces Jurgen Klopp.
And the Reds' vice-captain admits he is "sat on the fence" with regards to his opinion on who can take over after Klopp steps down after nine, largely decorated years this summer.
Klopp announced in late January that would be walking away at the end of the campaign, citing a lack of energy to continue the demanding role past 2024, having joined in October 2015.

Liverpool insist a number of candidates are still being exhaustively assessed ahead of a decision that will have a major impact on the long-term health of the club's fortunes on the pitch but Alexander-Arnold believes the squad is still good enough to compete for the game's biggest honours, whoever is in the dugout.
