Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has made three changes to get the team he believes can put in an important performance at Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
Fifth-placed Spurs are five points behind Villa with a game in hand and Postecoglou's men arrive at Villa Park with eight days behind them on the pitches of Hotspur Way while Unai Emery's side played on Thursday night, drawing 0-0 at Ajax in the Europa Conference League.
Postecoglou has Pedro Porro back in action after a hamstring injury and the Spanish right-back, who has eight assists so far this season, slots back into the team. Richarlison remains out with his knee injury, but Pape Matar Sarr has had a better week following his back problem and the young Senegal international starts in the midfield with Rodrigo Bentancur dropping down to the bench.
Brennan Johnson made a big impact with two assists from the bench against Crystal Palace and he starts with Dejan Kulusevski and skipper Son Heung-min up front. Timo Werner drops to the bench despite his goalscoring display against Palace.
Here's the team Postecoglou has selected:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Son, Johnson. Subs: Austin, Emerson, Davies, Dragusin, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Lo Celso, Werner, Scarlett.
