Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Heung-min Son and James Maddison could both miss Tottenham's clash against Liverpool.
Spurs host the Reds on Saturday as they look to end September on a high after a promising start to life under Postecoglou.
The Australian's side held rivals Arsenal to a 2-2 draw last Sunday, with Son and Maddison combining for both goals as Spurs equalised twice to steal a point at the Emirates.
But now, Spurs have been dealt a possible double injury blow, as Postecoglou revealed last weekend's stars may not be available to face the Merseyside outfit.
He's also totally ruled out one of the other players that started against the Gunners, too.
Deadline day signing Brennan Johnson came off at Arsenal after pulling up and clutching his hamstring.
Now, the Spurs boss has confirmed the former Nottingham Forest forward will be sidelined this Saturday.
«Brennan will miss out this week,» Postecoglou said in his pre-match interview. «It's nothing too serious, but it's enough to keep him out.»
Unlike Johnson, Postecoglou hasn't ruled Maddison and Son out.
However, he did state their availability for the fixture remains to be seen, despite them both training on Friday.
