The international break has come at just the wrong time for Tottenham. Spurs have enjoyed a fantastic start to the new Premier League season, ending August in second place with three wins and a draw.
Tottenham kicked off the campaign with a four-goal thriller against Brentford before storming past Manchester United in Ange Postecoglou's first competitive clash on home turf. The Lilywhites then continued their rich vein of form at the Vitality Stadium before running riot against Burnley.
