Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has revealed that he is closing in on a return from injury.
The England international has been out of action for the Reds since aggravating a knee injury in the win over Burnley in February. Alexander-Arnold initially endured a period on the sidelines after suffering from the problem in the FA Cup third round win over Arsenal, at the beginning of January which kept him out for three weeks.
Conor Bradley has enjoyed a spell in the first-team in the absence of the full-back and the Europa League quarter-final first-leg against Atalanta has been earmarked as a possible return date for the academy graduate.

"It's going well now, finally in the final stages and just excited to get back out there," he said. "It's hard watching and not being apart of it, it's one of the longest ones (injuries) of my career so far, it gives you that hunger to get back out there and perform.
"I think a couple of weeks, if everything keeps going well and there's no setbacks. (I've) Got to keep working hard, I'm not going to get back into the team - it's not what I'm expecting - but it's exciting. I want to get out there, help the lads and be in a title race."
Alexander-Arnold was speaking as part of Sky Sports' coverage of Brighton and Hove Albion's trip to Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool are winless in their last four against the Seagulls, since Roberto De Zerbi took over from Graham Potter.
Under the guidance of the Italian, De Zerbi has led Brighton to wins over the Reds in the FA Cup and the sobering 3-0 defeat at the AMEX Stadium 13 months ago.
