Thomas Tuchel is open to a return to Chelsea , according to a report.
The German is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season after just over a year in charge, with the club up against it in the fight to win a trophy this season.
Bayern are currently second in the Bundesliga table, 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen having lost 3-0 to Xabi Alonso's side in February.
This season seems set to be the first year the club have gone a whole campaign without a trophy in 12 years, and the club moved quickly to move the former Chelsea manager on, with Alonso leading the race to replace him.
It's been heavily debated what could be next for Tuchel, who enjoyed success with the Blues having been appointed in January 2021 and leaving in September 2022, and, according to Sky's Florian Plettenberg, he has not ruled out a sensational return to Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel was sacked soon after Todd Boehly bought the club from Roman Abramovic in May of that year following a disappointing start to the 2022/23 season.
Things have only got worse since, however, with Tuchel's replacement, Graham Potter, sacked after six months in charge and Frank Lampard placed in temporary charge.
It was hoped that Mauricio Pochettino's appointment at the start of the season would be a fresh start for the club, but their woes have continued and they are lingering in the bottom half of the Premier League having lost the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool a little under a fortnight ago.
Tuchel was the man to deliver Chelsea's second Champions League title just months after joining, and was widely praised by fans, many of which have already turned on former Tottenham boss Pochettino.
