Liverpool made it three Anfield wins in eight days with a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Goals from Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah were enough to secure back-to-back Premier League victories after last week's 2-0 victory in the Merseyside derby with Everton.
But you knew all of that, of course. What might have escaped your attention, however, were a series of intriguing subplots to Sunday's action. Here are the moments you might have missed on the day.

Van Dijk has none of it
One of the most difficult tasks for a Premier League attacker must surely be attempting to skip around Virgil van Dijk, so when Andrey Santos failed in one particular first-half quest, he was left with little choice.
After being sent to the ground by the strength of the Reds captain, Santos attempted to exaggerate the fall and accentuate his injuries in an attempt to gain a free-kick and steal some yardage for his team.
Realising his opponent was perhaps not quite as poleaxed as he was making out to be, Van Dijk angrily demanded Santos get to his feet and once the Brazilian winger accepted there would be no free-kick forthcoming, despite his best efforts to feign injury, he duly obliged.
Van Dijk was certainly unhappy with the Forest player's efforts of gamesmanship but Santos himself just appeared faintly embarrassed by his poor efforts to buy a free-kick.
Santos eventually jumped to his feet and carried on the game without fuss, much to the amusement of those in front of the incident.
