Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk had the final say as Richard Keys criticised a decision he said was "killing the game".
Richard Keys, a former Sky Sports regular and now beIN Sports presenter, was not happy with VAR for ruling out Virgil van Dijk's first goal for Liverpool in their Carabao Cup final match against Chelsea. The two teams faced off at Wembley for the trophy, with Liverpool winning 1-0 thanks to a header from Van Dijk.
Both teams missed several great chances and hit the goal post, but the ball did end up in the back of Chelsea's net twice - the first time was around the 60-minute mark. Van Dijk beat Ben Chilwell to an excellent free-kick into the penalty area and headed the ball past Chelsea's goalkeeper Dorde Petrovic. He celebrated while the Liverpool fans in the stadium cheered, but it was all cut short.

After a long VAR check, referee Chris Kavanagh ruled out the goal because Liverpool midfielder Endo was judged to be offside during the build-up and also blocked Levi Colwill's run. Klopp couldn't believe what he was seeing and was spotted smiling sarcastically from his technical area, while Van Dijk argued against the decision.
While covering the match, Keys expressed his strong feelings about the situation. He said: "I'm doing my best to retain some calm, but these guys are killing our game. They are killing the goose that lays the golden egg.
