David Raya was the hero for Arsenal in their penalty shootout win over Porto.
The Gunners secured their place in the quarter-final of the Champions League on Tuesday night with victory over Porto. Arsenal won 1-0 on the night to see the tie finish 1-1 in aggregate, which saw the contest go to extra time.
There were no changes to the scoreline after 30 extra minutes, and a penalty shootout was needed. Arsenal won the shootout 4-2, with Raya making the crucial save to deny Galeno with Porto's fourth spot-kick.
Raya also got a hand to Wendell's early penalty that gave Arsenal the advantage in the shootout. The Gunners now progress to the next round of the tournament and will be in the draw for the quarter-final, which takes place on Friday.

After the final whistle on extra time, all eyes became focused on who would be taking the spot-kicks for Arsenal. Attention also centred on Raya, with the Gunners goalkeeper tasked with helping his team reach the next round.
Before the shootout began, Raya was spotted walking towards the home dugout where he sat alongside two Arsenal coaches. It was here that Raya could be seen watching a tablet, appearing to go over a plan for the Porto penalties.
Aaron Ramsdale, who was on the bench for Arsenal, was also near the bench offering his support to his teammate. After the crucial spot-kick from Galeno was saved by Raya, Ramsdale could be seen embracing his teammate in a hug as he joined in with the celebrations on the pitch.
