West Ham will soon discover their opponents for the last-16 of the Europa League.
The Hammers secured their place in the last-16 of the competition after finishing top of Group A.David Moyes's team won five out of their six group games and clinched a spot in this upcoming round of the tournament.
As a result of topping their group ahead of second-placed Freiburg, West Ham avoided competing in the play-off that has been taking place the last couple of weeks. Teams that finished second in their respective Europa League group would face a two-legged play-off against a team that finished third in the Champions League group stages. The winners will join West Ham in being part of the last-16 draw.
As well as West Ham, they will be joined by Liverpool and Brighton as the two other Premier League clubs in the draw. However, the Hammers will not be able to face either of the English clubs due to teams from the same country not being able to compete against one another until the quarter-final stage at the earliest.

Freiburg are also not a possible opponent for West Ham in the draw, due to clubs not being able to be drawn against the team they competed against during the group stages.
The Europa League draw for the last 16 will take place on Friday, February 23 at 11am from Nyon, Switzerland.
UEFA will also confirm the seedings for the draw at 8am, three hours before the draw takes place.
