Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Richarlison faces a period of three to four weeks on the sidelines due to a knee injury. A regular in the Tottenham team in recent months, the Brazilian was only spotted briefly indoors and was not seen outside with the rest of his teammates in the training footage and photos released by the club over the past week.
With the Brazilian set to be missing for a period of action, Destiny Udogie is in line to return to the Tottenham squad against Crystal Palace after missing the Wolves defeat through injury. However, Pedro Porro looks set for another week on the sidelines.
«Sort of going through from the last game, Richy picked up a bit of a knee injury so he's going to be missing sort of two to three weeks,» said Postecoglou when speaking to SPURSPLAY. «Obviously Sess [Ryan Sessegnon] had his hamstring and had to have surgery on that so that was kind of last game.
»In terms of coming back in, Destiny has a chance for tomorrow as he trained and we'll see how he pulls up. Pedro probably another week away."
When speaking to the media at Hotspur Way in his pre-match press conference, Postecoglou did indicate that it could actually be three to four weeks Richarlison is out for.
