Ange Postecoglou sent clear message to Tottenham stars after being left fuming vs Man City

Ange Postecoglou lit a fire within his Tottenham players at half-time against Manchester City after an angry team talk according to Dejan Kulusevski.

Son Heung-Min fired Spurs in front inside the opening 10 minutes, but quickly went from hero to zero after his own goal drew City level just minutes later. He told Sky Sports: "We would like to win as we had enough chances in the second half. It was an unbelievable performance and we need to play like that all season. I'm really proud of the guys.

"It was really hard. It was too bad we conceded the third goal as we might have won the game. If we can get better mentally then we'll be at the top come the end of the season. The coach was angry with us at half-time - he told us to just play."

Son was a tad more upbeat in response to the last-gasp goal sealing a hard-fought draw, adding: "This is what we love football, that is what I told the lads and the boss before the game. We kept believing until 90-minutes."
