Arsenal can complete six transfers and give Stan Kroenke double FFP boost
Arsenal supporters have been told as many as six players could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, including academy products Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe.
Mikel Arteta is expected to hunt for a striker ahead of next season and that could mean offloading a number of players to fund a transfer. Smith Rowe has long been expected to take his leave, according to The Athletic, having started just three games in the past two seasons thus far.
The 23-year-old’s contract does not expire for another two years so the Gunners will hope to reap a good fee for the attacker, which would help exponentially with Financial Fair Play manoeuvrability given he is an academy product.
The same applies for Eddie Nketiah, who may be concerned about his game time should another attacker arrive. The striker has started just one Premier League game since early November with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz ahead in the pecking order.
With three years left on his deal, academy graduate Nketiah would likely command a healthy fee, which would all be counted as profit. The 24-year-old has six goals and five assists this season.
Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsdale could seek a summer move given his relegated goalkeeper status. The England international has started just ten games this season and has not played in the Premier League since November with David Raya now first choice.
