Eden Hazard has reunited with the ball boy that he infamously kicked during a League Cup semi-final — 11 years after the incident.
The Chelsea legend posed with Charlie Morgan, who now runs his own vodka company, and gave him a sweet message as he helped promote the brand.
The Belgian wrote on social media: «A nice thing about retirement is catching up with old friends.
»You have come a long in way in 11 years my friend @charliem0rgan @auvodka x @hazardeden10."
All the way in 2013, Chelsea took on Swansea in the semi-final of the League Cup before a bizarre moment in the second leg.
With Swansea leading the Blues 2-0 from the first leg, the ball found its way to Morgan, who was a ball boy at the Liberty Stadium.
Just 17 years old at the time, Morgan kept the ball by holding onto it with ten minutes left of normal time.
In a desperate attempt to get the ball off him and get play back underway, Hazard kicked out at the teenager, who then rolled around clutching his ribs.
It saw Hazard sent off for his actions and handed a three-match ban as Swansea went on to reach Wembley and win the competition.
Now 11 years after that incident, the two appear to have reconciled and have reunited in a touching moment.
