Ex-Chelsea boss Graham Potter seen at Arsenal amid questions over Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace future

Graham Potter was a notable attendee at the Emirates to watch Arsenal take on Crystal Palace, live on talkSPORT.

The 48-year-old is on the lookout for a new managerial job following his sacking at Chelsea in April 2023.

New opportunities have been hard to come by this campaign with dismissals only taking place at Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest.

Eagles boss Hodgson has found himself under pressure at Selhurst Park with Palace 14th in the table.

The south London outfit have lost nine Premier League matches this term, and have already been dumped out of the FA Cup in the third round.

Going into their trip to Arsenal, Palace have won just one match out of their previous 11 in all competitions.

But for ex-Blues left-back Scott Minto, he believes Potter would be eyeing up a club a step above Palace.

Speaking on talkSPORT commentary, he said of the former Swansea manager: «He's a man out of work.

»Just by being at a game, it probably tells you he wants a return.

«With a little bit of respect to Palace, I think he'd want a job with a little bit more potential.

»So I think he's just here to watch a good football match."

talkSPORT reported last month how Hodgson was facing an uncertain future with Steve Cooper a possible candidate to replace him should he be relieved of his duties.

Speaking after Palace's victory over Brentford in late December, Hodgson insisted he is paying no attention to outside noise regarding his position.
