This year there will be two parades to celebrate St Patrick's Day and one is taking place this weekend.
On Saturday, March 9, organisers will be kicking off celebrations early with a parade through Liverpool city centre. St Patrick's Day is celebrated every March 17 and is a cultural and religious celebration.
It's held on this date as it's believed to be the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. In Liverpool it's becoming a bigger occasion every year and often bars, clubs and pubs will get involved.
