A new 144-seat bar and restaurant has opened at Manchester Airport.
The new venue in Terminal 2, called Evergreen Bar and Brasserie will be operated by SSP UK, who also own Upper Crust, Millie's Cookies and Ritazza. Found in the departure lounge’s main atrium, The Evergreen Bar and Brasserie serves a variety of meals including breakfasts with freshly brewed coffee or sharing boards and wine.
The opening comes as the airport continues to make progress on its £1.3 billion transformation programme, which will more than double the size of the existing terminal when it is completed next year. Kari Daniels, CEO of SSP UK and Ireland said: "We have partnered with (the airport) for many years, bringing some of the country’s best-loved brands to customers.

"We’re delighted to have opened our first bespoke airside bar in this terminal, which will bring a premium dining experience to those wanting a final taste of Manchester before departure. Offering bespoke outlets is an important part of our strategy, ensuring we surprise and delight our customers while also providing a new experience each time they travel."
