There will hopefully be a very bright future on the horizon at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium going on the club's work behind the scenes in recent months. The appointment of Ange Postecoglou as Spurs head coach does appear to be a game changer for the Lilywhites with the team quite clearly going places under his guidance.
Tottenham academy director Simon Davies recently compared Postecoglou to Manchester United great Sir Alex Ferguson in regards to changing the culture at the club. Davies also admitted that while those from the outside looking in can see the big changes Postecoglou has already implemented, the former Man City academy coach revealed that it's «probably more impressive» when you see the impact he is having at the club internally.
Now with Postecoglou at the helm and Johan Lange as technical director, Tottenham have taken some big steps in the past two transfer windows as they look to form a squad that can see the Lilywhites challenge for major honours on a consistent basis. Postecoglou and Lange have decisions to make in regards to a couple of players who will be out of contract at the end of June. Third-choice goalkeeper Brandon Austin is in the final few months of his Spurs contract and Timo Werner's loan deal at the club expires in the summer.
