Thierry Henry hilariously played down Jamie Carragher's suggestion that Jude Bellingham make Liverpool his next club.
Bellinghamjoined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for €103million (£88.5m), with numerous add-ons taking the deal to £115m.
The 20-year-old has made a bright start to life in the Spanish capital, with six goals in six appearances for his new club.
He also netted a late winner as Los Blancos earned a 1-0 win over Union Berlin in their Champions League group stage opener.
Already making his mark at the Santiago Bernabeu, many clubs across the continent were eyeing a swoop for the England international.
Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Bellingham, but missed out in the end to Spanish champions Real Madrid.
When discussing his career, Carragher suggested the player may one day be donning the red of Liverpool.
«I'm sure Jude wants to try the Premier League one day, and where better than six-times Champions League winners Liverpool?» he said on CBS Sports Golazo.
Henry could be seen grinning, looking shocked at Carragher's remarks, before offering a blunt reply.
«He is playing for a team that has won 14,» the Arsenal legend replied.
