Former Premier League defender Gary Neville has insisted that Jeremy Doku was a "lucky boy" after his challenge on Alexis Mac Allister was not penalised.
The moment came in injury-time at Anfield as Liverpool were chasing a winner in the tense Premier League title clash. Mac Allister had already scored from the spot to level the scoring after John Stones' opener.

After the game, Klopp shared his frustration at the decision with an on-field discussion with referee Michael Oliver. "It was [a reasonable conversation to have!] Maybe you can ask him, but our opinions aren't important," he told Sky Sports after.
"Would you have given the penalty in that situation? Isn’t it [VAR] there for just making the right decision and not thinking about how high the bar is to overturn a decision?
"Anywhere else on the pitch that is a 100% foul, and it’s a yellow card. He hits the ball, and only because his foot is up here, he kicks him. You will find people, like Mike Dean, is he working for Sky? Great appointment by the way but he and others will find something and all the others as well.
"It’s a penalty for all football people on the planet, if you don’t think so, maybe you’re not a football person."
Neville seconded Klopp's thoughts on the penalty, labelling Doku lucky. "I think he could be trouble, watch the follow through there," he said during his co-commentary of the game.
