Jurgen Klopp's players should be confident of beating Fulham after hammering Austrian side LASK 4-0 at Anfield on Thursday to secure a place in the last 16 of the Europa League. They are also going well in the Carabao Cup, having reached the quarter-finals.

Juventus and several top Premier League clubs are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City in January. It's believed the England international was a transfer target for Liverpool during the previous window, but their interest has now cooled.
Klopp signed Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai during the summer and is unlikely to bring in another midfielder in January. Phillips has started just twice in the Premier League since joining City from Leeds in July 2022.
