Liverpool and Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw at Anfield on Saturday night as both sides looked to take the lead at the top of the Premier League table.
It was an enthralling game of football, but nothing could separate the title challengers at full-time with Mikel Arteta's side getting off to a flying start, taking the lead after just four minutes with Gabriel heading the ball in from a free-kick.
Jurgen Klopp's side grew back into the game after going 1-0 down, before Mohamed Salah sprinted down the right hand side of the pitch to collect a long pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold, before drifting into the penalty area and hammeering the ball past David Raya from a tight angle.
It was Salah's 11th goal in the Premier League this season and may prove a crucial one as the Merseyside outfit look to keep the heat on the Gunners who sit just one point ahead of them at the top of the Premier League table.

Was uncharacteristically off balance and out of position for Arsenal’s opener after four minutes. Showed good experience to thwart Martinelli late in the first half when his compatriot went through on goal.
A simply sublime pass for Salah’s equaliser was just one of an album of fine creative moves. Kept Martinelli largely quiet, too, as he played as more of a traditional full-back rather than drifting into midfield as usual. Should have buried his chance on 73 minutes, though.
Was at fault for Arsenal’s goal, giving away a soft free-kick and then losing his man. But was absolutely immense following that moment, reading the game well, bullying the Gunners’ forwards and playing some punchy, breaking-the-lines passes.
