Guimaraes is one player who has been linked with an exit for some time given his impressive form for Newcastle. The likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid have been touted as potential interested parties, as have Liverpool.
The player himself has now addressed the rumours surrounding his future during what is a difficult season for Newcastle. "Sometimes people speak a lot about me. I just speak a lot about football,” he told Sky Sports after grabbing a brace in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.
